Power Family Crest

David Poer lived at Coorheen House, on the shore of the lake at Loughrea, Co. Galway. The two airs which follow were composed respectfully for his wife and daughter. Coorheen was later used as a dower house by the Clancarty family but it has now disappeared, being replaced by a modern house built near the old site about 1860. This was purchased in 1906 by the Catholic Bishop of Clonfert (Most Rev. Dr. O'Dea), and it now serves as the episcopal residence.
