Farrell Family Crest
Farrell Family Crest

Daniel Early says that after leaving Squire Reynolds' where he composed his first song, Carolan 'called at O'Farrell's in the Co. of Longford, and composed for his daughter. The present air may have been made for her mother. The air for the daughter is not extant, but the words (three quatrains, unpublished) are in R.I.A. MSS. ... O'Sullivan 2001 1 vol edition.
