Giolla Dubh an Gluairetáin - The Dark Plaintive Youth

There are three stanzas to this song in the Royal Irish Academy entitled Giolla Dubh an Gluairetáin meaning The Dark Plaintive Youth It suits the air, and these are clearly the appropriate words This is a Jacobite song, and begins "Cia fada dhamh a n-uaigneas, is buaidheartha tá m'intinn," sc. "Though long I am in solitude, troubled is my mind."
