glorious is your name over all the earth!
You have exalted your majesty above the heavens.

You have made him little less than the angels,
and crowned him with glory and honor.
6. Thug tú ceannas ar oibreacha do lámh dó
agus chuir tú gach aon ní faoina chosa,
You have given him rule over the works of your hands,
putting all things under his feet:
7. idir chaoirigh agus eallaí agus eile
agus ainmhithe uile an mhachaire,
All sheep and oxen, yes,
and the beasts of the field,
8. éanlaith an aeir agus iasc na mara
agus a ngluaiseann ar raonta na farraige.
The birds of the air, the fishes of the sea
and whatever swims the paths of the seas,
9. A Thiarna, ár dTiarna, nach éachtach é
