The Te Deum, a liturgical hymn in rhythmical prose, is sung in the Roman Catholic and Anglican Churches in the Liturgy of the Hours at the end of Morning Prayer on feasts and special occasions such as Thanksgiving. It is considered by many to be the most beautiful and majestic hymn ever written in God's praise.

We beseech You, therefore, help Your servants whom You have redeemed with Your precious Blood. Make them to be numbered with Your Saints in glory everlasting.
Tárrthuigh do mhuintir, a Thiarna, agus beannuigh d'oighreacht, Seol ar a leas go buan iad, agus tóg le do chabhair iad de shíor.
